The Sept 2 Long Island Show - A Note From Andy

Long Island!

Well, it has certainly been a long enough wait for Manchester Orchestra’s first headlining show here.  As you know, we have quite a history with a few of the musical residents in town and we’re lucky enough to have our friends in Person L and Sainthood Reps playing this show with us. We have always had undying (and undeserved) fan support from Long Island - whether it’s playing Nassau Coliseum with Brand New last November, or playing in Manhattan and having so many of you make the trek into the city see us play so many times.

The very first love our band was shown outside of our Peach State was from Karl Jr. at Looney Tunes back in September/October of 2006.  In the four years since that time, we have unfortunately never headlined a Long Island show.  We can’t wait!  This is going to be our last headlining show for quite a while and we promise to make it a show you will not soon forget. God bless and see you soon.
