As some of you may have already heard, there is a new Manchester Orchestra project! BAD BOOKS is a collaboration between Manchester Orchestra and Kevin Devine. The self-titled debut will be released October 19th, 2010 via Favorite Gentlemen. There will be short run of tour dates on the East Coast in October. More info at www.badbooksmusic.com
We’re happy to announce that we’re bringing back the BYOB contest for the remaining dates on the Thrice co-headline tour. Same deal: upload a photo of your dog via the link above. The band will look at all of the entries and pick a winner. The winning dog (and owner) will get to come up to the venue after soundcheck to hang out with the band, play catch, sniff around the tour bus, take photos, shoot the breeze, etc. It’s a good time. Winners will also get 2 complimentary tickets to the show. (Important: We will notify the winners via email the day before the show so please be sure to check your email!)
